The Story of SNA
Southeastern Network Agencies (SNA) is a collaborative venture formed in 2008 by six independent agency owners in Georgia, expanding over seven locations. Our founding president, Kevin Panter from Kevin Panter Insurance along with current member Bivins Robinson of Robinson Agency, Inc., and four other former members envisioned a premier agent network dedicated to serving its members.
Since its inception, SNA has grown significantly, evolving from representing $11 million in premiums with an average of 30 years of industry experience to a robust network of 24 partners managing over $111 million in combined premiums as of last month.
Today, SNA focuses on maximizing profitability, strengthening market positions, spreading risk, and continuously enhancing individual agency efficiency. We achieve this through the introduction of new technologies, consistent training, and business management coaching.

In an effort to streamline the new member application and acceptance process, SNA created the New Membership Committee comprised of new and founding partners.
Your application will be delivered to this committee for review, and you should expect to hear back from one of our Co-Chairs within 2 business days as we begin the review process.

What to expect after applying for partnership with SNA
You’re looking to grow your agency and invest in a community of like-minded business owners, and we want you to know exactly what comes next when you apply.
A step-by-step detailing of your application process:
- Submit your digital application
- Receive acknowledgement of the receipt of your application from one of our New Member Committee Co-Chairs within 2 business days along with a request for deliverables
- Gather and submit the necessary deliverables (i.e., the prior outlined Partner Criteria)
- Our Co-Chairs will then share your application and deliverables with the Committee for a preliminary review before meeting to discuss your application
- An invitation to interview with the Committee will be extended and said interview conducted
- An invitation to meet SNA partners will then be extended and your membership vote held
From start to finish, we aim to welcome you to SNA within 4 weeks of your application submission. If that timeline should change or we find that we’re not the best fit for your agency at any point in the process, then that will be communicated promptly.

What makes you the right fit for SNA
Our partners are the core of our network, and we take great pride in the quality of each agency and human involved with SNA. It’s our hope that our prospective partners run profitable, quality independent insurance agencies with integrity and passion.
Some of our membership selection criteria include:
- An agency production minimum of $1M
- 55% or less 5-year total book loss ratio
- No new member can be closer than 10 miles from a current partner
- An agency in business for 3 or more years
- A minimum of 3 SNA partner carriers already contracted
- Current membership with either the Big I or PIA
As a part of your application review, we’ll also look at:
- Your agency’s number of employees and the breakdown of roles
- Your agency’s financials
- The Principal’s background, including a credit history review
- Percentage growth from year-to-year
The right fit for SNA is someone who meets these criteria (though a small handful of exceptions have been made for the right partner) and who has a deep desire to grow their agency and themselves.
